October is here. The evenings are drawing in and the nights are getting cooler which is perfect for snuggling up with a good book and a warm drink. I love this time of the year and I have woken up full of expectation of the things to come – Halloween, Bonfire night and of course, Christmas. With this new season, I am pleased to announce Duvet Dwellers Books have joined Flamingo Paperie to offer quality greeting cards and stationery to spread smiles to those around you.
Why cards from under the duvet?
Being a duvet dweller* and living life from under a duvet you watch the world go by without you and it is easy to feel isolated. We are lucky to live in the age of technology because this allows us to connect with people at the touch of a button but sometimes you need more. For me, there is nothing like the clunk of the letter box and a handwritten card waiting on the doormat. Letters and cards can make the recipient smile and loved more than an electronic ping on your phone. Letters can change someone’s life as shown in a book I love One Million Lovely Letters by Jodi Ann Bickley which I must add a review for.
So why not have a browse here and see what you think?
